TP Group is an AIM listed PLC providing highly specialised complex equipment and consulting services to the worldwide energy and defence markets.As a direct report to the board I am responsible for all commercial and legal matters across the Group.Notable achievements include:Managed a significant commercial dispute including development of overall strategy to achieve a settlement of £500k against an original claim value of £4.5m. Used this experience to drive key changes in contract positioning for future work in the relevant business unit.Defined negotiation strategy for a number of loss making development contracts with various overseas clients over a 12 month period and put in place revised contract models to mitigate the risk of such loss making situations arising in the futureImplementation and rollout of GDPR policies and processes to ensure compliance with revised data protection requirementsDesigned and implemented a full end to end suite of (business appropriate) commercial contracting processes including developing bespoke contracting models as needed to meet the requirements of each business unit.
