Originally from Adelaide, South Australia (SA), I am a recipient of the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship (2022-2024) and a recipient of the Friends of Music Service Award, SA (2021). I am an emerging Australian soprano, praised by operatic baritone, Jason Barry-Smith, as showcasing, “lovely, honest singing” (2023). This year, I am completing my final year as a Bachelor of Music candidate, guided by opera singer, Ireni Utley, at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU). This catalytic experience has aided my future ambitions as a performer and educator. My recent notable performances include chorus for QCGU’s annual fully staged opera productions (2023-2024), choir for the QCGU Filmharmonic concert (2022), including a workshop with the Grammy-nominated composer, Tim Davies, and undertaking the role of Rosmene in excerpts from Handel’s Imeneo for the Cuskelly Summer School Opera Program (2023). Internationally, I have graced the venues of Universal Studios Hollywood, Lincoln Centre (NYC), Broadway theatre and the Los Angeles College of Music (2019). I am an extensively involved member of the music community and recognise the role of public-school music education in my journey. I am guided by my personal values of respect, justice and honesty and I am determined to support the equitable musical advancement of others. Key engagements in my goal have included professional recordings for the promotion of public music education at Wizard Tone Studios, SA (2021), at the ABC (2019) and for the Festival of Music program, SA (2016). I currently enjoy teaching voice at the Independent Music Academy.
