Wrote multiple articles on women in Fukushima, including a story about top-flight Japanese architects whow were working pro bono to help Fukushima rebuild. • In a much-read article, wrote about a new spirit of activism among Japanese women, who were protesting the actions of government/corporations in ways that would have been unthinkable at any time in the past. In particular, the women of Fukushima—those most directly affected—have become powerful advocates for change, expressing their outrage about the meltdown of the Daiichi Power Plant.

Took on and met formidable challenges, including the Burke Library renovation, updating of storage systems/controls for rare/fragile collections, establishment of an International Archives of Women in Theological Scholarship & legacy projects management (updating of Dietrich Bonhoeffer Bibliography). • Successful in leading the fundraising team in securing over $8MM to rebuild/refurnish Union's venerable Burke Library over 2 arduous years. Orchestrated a rebuilding process that included fires on the roof, floods through the roof/walls and broken elevators to deliver a “jewel” of a renovated library. • Built 2 departments, Archives & Conservation, hiring a top flight Archivist & Conservation staff. Renovated Conservation Lab, outfitting it with tools to work with anything from a Gutenberg Bible to a brittle paperback.
