I am a registered Dental Hygienist and Therapist, specialising in Adult Restorative , mainly within the field of Periodontology managing complex Periodontal cases. I have a special interest in the management of Peri-implantitis and Oral Medicine.I have also recently started to work within the specialty of Oncology, treating Head and Neck Cancer patients prior to, during and after surgery , managing the oral complications of adjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy. I am an associate clinical lecturer at Newcastle University and teach both BDS and BSc Dental Therapyundergraduates, providing supervision through their clinical placements and deliver supplementary teaching. I have a role in student support and pastoral care and all aspects of examinations and assessment.I have 27 years of experience in the dental field in total and am driven to continually improve my knowledge, skills and patient care.
