In my time at One Fab Day, the site has reached over half a million unique readers per month, we launched a successful podcast which I co-hosted with Celina Murphy, and we expanded and modernised our editorial to meet the needs of a more diverse and discerning readership.A creative, challenging, and skill-enhancing role, I continued to learn about social media strategy, SEO, content planning and digital monetisation.I managed contributors, daily deadlines and maintained a busy editorial calendar as well as collaborating with our sales team and advertisers on partner content and events.

I have written in a freelance capacity across a variety of digital and print media. These include The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Face-Up, Hot Press, Beaut.ie, Fly Away Bride, and Town and Village.

I worked on media and communications with the London-Irish Abortion Rights Campaign. This involved being a spokesperson, liaising with international press in the lead-up to the referendum, creating engaging and informative social media content, building a website and information campaign around #HomeToVote and organising a press event in Dublin Airport, footage from which went viral online and was used by media outlets around the world. Through the campaign, I also spoke at an International Women's Day Event at Garden Court Chambers and contributed to the Citizenship Papers in 2021, a collection of essays as part of the campaign for voting rights for Irish emigrants and citizens living in Northern Ireland.

Over three years, I grew Bridal Musings from what was originally a personal bridal blog, to a leading international wedding publication. I developed several feature series and worked on special projects with Conde Nast and UNICEF. I grew the social media following extensively, most notably on Instagram to over 150k followers. I spoke on several panels and represented the publication at events in New York, London, Birmingham and Barbados.I oversaw a redesign, which developed the brand to its contemporary aesthetic, and developed a house tone that was informative, friendly, and fun. I led sponsored content on the site, working directly with advertising clients like Etsy, Dove, and Disney on creative partnerships that were native to our tone.

As part of DesignMyNight.com’s national expansion, this role involved researching, creating content and setting up new regional sites. I then went on to edit one of the company’s existing sites, while still maintaining my original position. This was a busy role in a fast-growing start-up with a small team.I also managed several social media accounts, sent weekly newsletters for both sites, was involved in guest content for external media outlets, and created sponsored content. I managed a small team of staff and interns, which gave me experience in overseeing workflows and delegating tasks for the first time.

I also spent a year living in Cambodia where I worked as lifestyle writer for the Phnom Penh Post, covering travel, business, development, food and culture.

I worked at Stellar from the month it was first published through its rise to Ireland’s best-selling glossy. As part of a small team, I was involved in every aspect of production. I wrote about fashion and friendship, beauty and careers, health and Hollywood. I generated ideas, interviewed celebrities, organised shoots and co-ordinated events. I was also the editorial liaison in setting up stellar.ie and establishing the magazine's social media presence. By the end of my time there, I was sub-editing and proofing, writing captions and cover lines and had established my own column.
