After graduating from Oregon State University I started working for Radio Cab as a part time teller. I quickly took on more responsibility and was trusted to apply city fees as well as prepare accounts receivable invoices. I used my intercultural communication skills to communicate with cab drivers of diverse backgrounds. In June of 2018 i was presented with the opportunity to use my degree in a childcare setting. I use my knowledge of human and child development to meet children and families on their levels. I also use my leadership skills to foster a enjoyable work environment within the after school program. I was promoted to the role of toddler after school lead in December of 2018. In this role I have created a fun and educational program that supports the developmental and emotional needs of up sixteen toddlers ranging in age from 13 months to three years old.
