I have more than 25 years of experience in business development and management. My experience spans from technology to healthcare to non-profit and includes managing an accredited outpatient surgical facility, co-founding a biotech startup company, participating in clinical studies, managing a no-kill humane society, and IT administration. It is my mission to help improve the lives of others through my work, whether directly or indirectly. I consider myself fortunate to have acquired a broad skill set that allows me to address a wide variety of management concerns. My areas of experience include finance and accounting, human resources, organizational development, and information technology. In my role as a manager and leader, I strive to build positive relationships with colleagues, staff and customers/clients/patients. I am also a firm believer in bolstering morale in the workplace not only because it is the decent thing to do, but because there is ample data to suggest that it is critical to the overall success of an organization. I find my ability to combine technical know-how with management proficiency to be a fulfilling endeavor and I always appreciate the opportunity to carry my past experiences forward as I learn new ways to advance processes. I believe that the need for improvement in the leadership and management arena is something that can never be exhausted.
