I am currently at the MaineHealth Institute for Research Center for Molecular Medicine. I have a bachelor of science in biotechnology from the University of Southern Maine. I currently work as a research assistant in the Motyl Lab studying the neural development of bone. I have done work on the genetic regulation of bone development through microRNAs under the effect of morphine. I plan to further this research by determining the role of extra-cellular signaling through exosomes in bone deterioration caused by morphine. I have experience in wet lab techniques, statistical analysis, and scientific writing.
