I assist residents in carrying out activities of daily living such as bathing, eating, toileting, and transportation. I record vitals, dietary intake, and urinary outputs and monitor for changes in medical condition. Working in a skilled nursing facility has allowed me to work with respiratory, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, dialysis care teams and wound care nurses. I also help carry out any tasks delegated to my by the nurses.

I have completed 120 hours of training to excel as volunteer as a hotline counselor. In this role I leverage my interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills. I assist callers by providing empathetic support and referrals on a case-by-case basis. I provide short-term counseling to callers dealing with mental health crises, homelessness, abuse, and addiction.

I carry out note taking during executive board meetings, track group attendance, and and responsible for booking rooms for all rehearsals, meetings, concerts, and other events.
