Senior Project Engineer responsible for the third party interface of developers works with the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly Lines. I directly manages a team of engineers, assistant engineers and works inspectors to support the varying workload demands. I am also responsible for leading multidisciplinary design teams for the delivery of new or altered TFL assets by third parties to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

TFL Civil Graduate Programme - I gained first hand experience experience of the project life cycle through various placements across the business ranging from design and construction to asset maintenance and operations. This coupled with commercial and management experience gained throughout the scheme supported the successful completion of my ICE training agreement.

I assisted the project managers and construction manager with the planning, organisation and implementation of RVAR construction works during engineering hours/possessions. This involved liaising with stakeholders and contractors, preparation of site documentation, arranging access for contractors, monitoring daily shift reports, planning resources and welfare, method statement reviews and reviewing site health and safety.

Graduate Civil Engineer October 2012 - June 2013 (Secondment)During this time I completed several large bridge designs/assessments to Eurocode, British Standards and Highways Agency Code. I also delivered a feasibility study for culvert repair/replacement. I became proficient in the use of modelling software Midas Civil, data management and advanced excel.

Track Engineering November 2011 - June 2012 I assisted with the planning and organisation of the scrap removal closure works which involved scoping sites, creating of site work folders and planning and logistics of the removal works. I also lead the scoping, planning, approval and implementation of new track lubrication equipment on the Jubilee and Piccadilly Lines. I delivered a Side Wear Survey Programme - this involved developing: project specifications, procedures, resourcing labour, carrying out mentored training, implementing a monitoring scheme and planning shits in conjunction with creating a function within the asset management system to capture this data. I also delivered a temporary and permanent solution to a health and safety issue involving live depot feeds. This involved site identification, site marking, planning opportunity possession works, sourcing products and assuring new suppliers.
