Hello and welcome to my corner of LinkedIn!Once upon a time, in the UK's bustling educational landscape, I thrived in a top-tier 'super school,' orchestrating high-achieving teams and breathing new life into schools across South Yorkshire. But in 2017 adventure called, and with just a suitcase each, my husband and I embraced the vibrant pulse of Hong Kong before Shanghai's siren song beckoned us further in 2020. 🧳From the bustling corridors of a top-tier 'super school' in the UK to the vibrant streets of Hong Kong and Shanghai, my journey hasn't been about following paths—but building them. Leaving full-time, front-line school leadership in 2020 was no easy feat, but the universe had grander plans. As Managing Partner for PD Academia I have the absolute privilege to partner with hundreds of schools to develop, deliver and measure the impact of their PD programming. Whether it be through coaching, mentoring or training, my goal is to enable educators and leaders to thrive! In my previous role I had the joy of crafting an entire Learning and Professional Development division from the ground up—talk about a builder's dream!In nearly 4 (short) years, we launched a powerhouse of initiatives: an online PD platform, weekly PD events, leadership programs, coaching training, skills based training and access to leadership mentoring. We even snagged some shiny accolades too! 🏆 But this is all 'stuff', right? All that truly matters is the difference we make—one teacher, one leader, one team at a time.It’s all in service of elevating standards and nurturing bespoke, continuous growth. How can we collectively be and do better?
