This was a dual role which includes the management of the nursery catering team to deliver freshly cooked meals to over 100 children daily and the General Manager of the adjoining Monkey Maze soft play centre and Café. I was responsible for people management & development, recruitment, HR related processes, P&L control, marketing, sales driving, completing rotas and managing wages within agreed budgets, EHO standards across both sites and maintenance.

I have predominantly worked within high volume, fast paced restaurants. In 2013 I opened a brand new site in Leeds city centre and built a team of 50+. I had full accountably for all aspects of the financial performance and KPI's, including Profit & Loss, Customer Experience, Team Development and succession planning. Alongside this, I supported People Growth and Development within our region through talent reviewing, coaching, mentoring and facilitating Management training.

This role was based within a centralised HR and Payroll centre that provided outsourced services.I provided HR advice and administrative support and was solely responsible for 1 client with 500+ employees. This included answering HR related queries regarding new employee set ups, company benefits, the leaver process, exit interviews and low level disciplinary processes. I also maintained the HR company records.

I joined in 1999 as a brand new Assistant Manager and progressed to General Manager in 2004.
