• To receive calls from members of the public and triage via the NHS Pathways system, reaching the correct disposition to ensure that the patient receives the most appropriate care within the correct timeframe. This can range from sending an emergency ambulance, arranging an urgent appointment with a Doctor, referral to A&E or a Minor Injuries Unit down to a non urgent appointment with the patients own GP or Dental Service and unfortunately sometimes dealing with unexpected deaths and suicidal patients. • Attended and passed the CQI Course to become a coach in order to be able to coach and support new starters.
