Following a career in the MoD, I returned to academia in 2011. I completed a joint honours degree in Classics and Archaeology in 2014. Following my graduation I became a freelance commercial archaeologist initially working with Swale and Thameside Survey Company. This prompted me to open my own archaeological company in 2015. In 2016 I also worked with Canterbury Archaeological Trust as a Field Archaeologist and with the Museaum of London Archaeology within their Finds Department, learning how to process finds. In 2017 I completed my MSc in Archaeological Practise and opened my second company followed by Aegis-Scot Archaeology based in Orkney and specilising in small scale archaeological excavations and Heritage Management activities. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Archaeologists (affiliated) and a member of the CIFA Finds Committee. I am also CSCS accredited.
