Qualitative research is always interesting because you're forever learning something new, from participants, about clients' businesses and brands, your team or yourself. Never a dull day (well, almost... the GDPR days are truly dull!). And that's why I've stayed for so long. So maybe it's no surprise that I've gravitated towards the more sensitive/ intimate categories where qual skills have to be especially sharp. I'm experienced enough to know what really works... mixing seemingly opposite approaches, e.g. anonymous online journaling with face-to-face group discussions to tackle topics that are embarrassing or difficult to talk about. And while I enjoy the process, I also have a business growth mentality. All our clients want their brands and businesses to grow, or at the very least to achieve their marketing objectives. And we are committed to helping them with distilled insight that the business can easily work with. And Qual Street itself also wants to keep growing and building a reputation for great qualitative research (putting my MD hat on for a moment). So we're always keen to meet new clients, learn about their business challenges and help them progress.
