Claire serves on the board the Trottier Family Foundation, a private foundation that supports work related to climate change, science, education, and health. She is the Chair of the Board of the Welcome Collective, an organization she co-founded that supports newly arrived refugee claimants in Montreal. Claire has a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology and left her position as an Assistant Professor at McGill University in 2021 to dedicate her focus to philanthropy and advocacy.
