I have spent over 25 years working in senior financial and operational roles, mostly in large technology based multinationals.Regardless of the sector or size of the organisation, my role has always had one core purpose: to add value to the business, and whilst commercial aptitude combined with financial insight are paramount I also believe that ensuring people are fully supported from a diversity and inclusion perspective is critical to the ultimate success of the business.I started work as a junior accounting clerk, passing on University and swiftly working my way up into more senior roles. My hope is that every individual is judged on merit and given the opportunity to shine and progress regardless of background, education, gender, race or any other way that people can be labelled. I enjoy mentoring and sharing my career story in the hope that it will inspire others and demonstrate that career opportunities are available to everyone.
