What I do: I help empower HR leaders facilitate people-centred wellbeing in the workplace that helps employees remain focused, productive and reduce the risk of overwhelm and absence through unique and highly effective tools. Why I do it: Having had my lion's share of burning out within the highly-demanding Health and Social Care sector, a breakdown from an emotionally abusive relationship and always having been an incredibly driven person in anything I set my mind to, I decided now is the time to share my experiences in order to support and drive the change in how we support the people within our professional space. Simply, I didn't want to anyone else to feel like they couldn't speak out for fear of their abilities and performance being questioned. How I do it:Delivering Live and online workshopsInterviews with like-minded professionals who are helping to drive change in public consciousness and address current challengesBuilding and developing healthy and positive professional relationshipsContributing to relevant publications and networksResearching and addressing the latest trends in industry-specific workforce wellbeingOngoing professional developmentWhy it works:Having been there myself, I understand the frustrations that arise when employees feel overlooked and not heard or valued for their potential. It's all too easy to remain silent so as not to risk being misunderstood or disciplined for matters that could be out of our control. My width and depth of experience and observation of human behaviour has always been a guiding light. This as well as my fascination in psychology and how the human brain interprets behaviours can help us to change the narrative within a situation by practicing objective mindfulness. My experience in frontline health and social care has given me a great deal of life experience and an incredible empathy and compassion for others through their hardships. I am very fortunate to have seen a great depth and breadth of life as a result and a respect for the strength of others.
