As the first point of contact for telephone queries communication skills are vital & providing a comprehensive housing management and support service, including working with tenancy agreements and collecting rents and charges. Organisational skills come into play all of the time in order to deal with a range of administrative issues, as well as the sensitivity to appreciate how everyday housing issues impact on quality of life.

Responsibilities involved full time hours collecting data for the Resource Centre for Persons with Disabilities in which the data found is currently helping with funding for the disabled population of Tamale. Project leading of social research and data analysis which largely involved mixed methods and semi structured interviews. Significant field work required that represented International Service in a professional and empathetic manner at all times. Always have been passionate about helping people and making positive social change in the world and learnt a great deal from time in a Africa. Academic qualifications were put into practice consistently over the 3 months; however no academic knowledge can ever really prepare you for living in a developing country. This experience has made me view the world differently, appreciate what I have, increased my ambition to drive equality and justice and heightened my passion for my future career.
