As a commercially astute managing director, non-executive board director and human resources consultant I am passionately committed to helping organisations achieve their goals through fantastic workplace culture and people.In 2009 I founded a Brisbane based human resources consulting and outsourcing firm, Harrison Human Resources (www.hhr.com.au), which helps medium sized organisations to manage and motivate their employees. Through business partnering our services include: audits and planning, recruitment and induction, leadership and culture, reward and recognition, performance management, health and wellness, compliance (employment contracts), employee engagement, position descriptions, and e-learning (www.hhrlearn.com.au). In 2016 I released my first book, The CEO Secret Guide to Managing and Motivating Employees, which includes case studies of award-winning CEOs of best employer businesses, such as the Starlight Childrens Foundation, Birdsnest, and The Physio Co. I also launched my podcast, Best Workplace CEOs with Claire Harrison where I interview CEOs of award-winning great places to work.I am a Non-Executive Director, and Governance and Remuneration Committee Member on the Creche and Kindergarten Association Limited Board, and was Chair of Redland Women in Business and the Redland Business Awards while a Board Member of the Redland City Chamber of Commerce. To compliment my professional experience, I have completed an undergraduate degree in Business, a postgraduate qualification in Law, and attended Columbia Business School in New York. As well, I am a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a member of Women on Boards.
