One of the very nicest things about life, is when we pause what we are doing, and devote our time and attention to brewing and drinking a perfect cup of tea.I've always been in love with the tea experience, but was underwhelmed by the premium tea and herbal infusions available. In 2017, seeing a gap in the market for an independent British tea company to tick all the consumer trend boxes with a premium offer, I set aside my barrister’s wig and, together with my mother Nicky Kavanaugh - a professional project manager, and family friend Fraser Tant - an experienced F&B marketeer, we pooled our skills and resources, rolled up our sleeves, and set about challenging the status quo.We founded Twist Teas and launched our own range of uniquely crafted blends aimed at like-minded contemporary tea lovers. Over four years I have tested and improved Twist Tea's marketing ROI.Each blend is created from the finest, ethically sourced whole-leaf ingredients, hand-blended in small batches and hand-packed in sustainable, plastic-free packaging. What sets us apart (because we never stop innovating) is each blend has an added extra: functional herbs, botanicals and spices evidenced to provide health and wellbeing benefits. That’s why our tagline is “Blends with Benefits”.We are passionate and driven and our whole team has a single-minded ambition to:1) Sell quality, plastic-free tea, loved at first taste; and2) Delight our clients so much, so they talk about our tea and service in the same breath.Already a trusted independent supplier, we select complementary food and beverage outlets to showcase our tea, never large retailers. We also sell direct to the consumer online and our monthly tea club and personalised tea gifts are growing in popularity.
