HackDavis is the first major collegiate hackathon at UC Davis completely run by students. In Spring 2016, over 300 students, hackers, and creatives came together for 24 hours of hacking. We’re providing a platform to bring together the most talented students in California to address the world’s most pressing social issues. The overall result was 50+ projects submitted and $6000 going towards charity. - Created marketing strategies and managed social media platforms- Co-produced a promo video, which reached 1800+ views with a Facebook marketing campaign - Led and facilitated a brand ambassador team of 8 people; tripled the number of Davis applicants in three weeks- Initiated 6 workshops to introduce hacker culture to the campus and teach technical skills for the hackathon - Facilitated "Humans of Hackdavis" at the hackaton
