Established the Perth Chapter of FI - the first accelerator program for early stage tech companies in Perth. My goal for this project was to provide structured support to Perth's growing entrepreneurship community and to help Perth entrepreneurs to connect with money, mentors and markets through the Founder Institute network.

Agworld is a SaaS startup that provides cloud-based, mobile-enabled agriculture management tools to farmers, agronomists, and application contractors in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA. Reporting to the CEO, I am responsible for developing and managing Agworld's digital commercialisation and marketing strategies.

Startup Weekend is a global non-profit organisation. In just 54 hours, the Startup Weekend process aims to take entrepreneurs from idea to viable business with paying customers. The inaugural Perth Startup Weekend was run in September 2012. I formed part of the mentoring team, working with teams to help them validate & execute their ideas in this very short period of time. I was also part of the organising committee, helping with general execution of the event.

As a digital marketing and ecommerce consultant I guided clients through definition of their business's digital presence. The work I do covers: - business analysis, - strategy definition, - project management for development of web and mobile sites- product management for web and mobile- build and testing management - development of a digital marketing strategy - product and catalogue strategy & analysis and - ongoing conversion optimisation of both client websites and digital marketing campaigns.Clients included Pharmacy777, Perth CPAP and L'Oreal Australia (Kerastase).

During September and October 2013 I was privileged to be involved in the Global Startup Youth event, part of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2013. The GSY is a gathering of tomorrow's coders, hustlers, domain experts and youth leaders to huddle together for 3 intense days to find solutions for some of the world's most pressing problems. I'm thrilled to have had the opportunity to share my experiences with such an outstanding group of young people, and to learn from theirs.

MedicAnimal.com is a rapidly growing online retailer, providing vet and pet supplies direct to consumer. Lead country teams in development of user experience & catalogue strategy per market. Built strategic partnerships with manufacturers of key products. Developed MedicAnimal's digital marketing strategy to cover a broad range of pay-per-click and affiliate campaigns and a comprehensive & targeted email marketing strategy.

Responsible for the development of a new revenue stream within the business, I was required to develop & validate a financial model, meet potential industry partners and act as business owner for the development of a new e-commerce platform. During this period I also acted as BA for the total business. In this function, I was responsible for the collection and analysis of business requirements for all new web app developments, management and validation of pre-release testing by business users, and liason between IT and business users.

Additional role, held whilst training new pharmacy manager and team. I held full responsibility for the management of campaigns and delivery of results aligned with the business model & company objectives, with respect to both spend and efficiency.

During this period I was self-employed. I worked in over 20 different practices across the UK, and in doing so achieved my personal objective: gaining a comprehensive understanding of the UK veterinary practice environment and mechanics.

Ascot Veterinary Hospital is a large, busy general veterinary practice in Perth, Western Australia. I gained my initial professional experience here, and was able to develop a wide array of clinical skills across multiple disciplines.
