Re-Entry Mentor
Current● Providing Mentorship to clients who were recently incarcerated● Assisting mentees in identifying strengthens, talents, coping mechanisms while providing solutions to current issues, and barriers they have while re-entering society● Preparing and maintaining reporting information, including statistical data & narratives that are essential for company auditing while processing and submitting all reports and documents accurately and in a timely manner● Assisting with government paperwork for clients as well as making internal referrals to maintain client progress● Volunteering additional support for agency events and parties that help promote, encourage engagement, and retention● Networking with external resources that are beneficial to both clients and employees● Providing office support such as filing, copying, creating excel and sharepoint documents, and organizing data for auditing. ● Assisting with program presentations, orientations, facilitating groups and services plans in NYS city jails● Creating an environment that is conducive to professionalism and welcoming to clients● Establishing standards that will ensure appropriate boundaries and suitable behaviors; and Other duties as assigned.
