Created a program evaluation after personally identifying a need for data-driven decision-making for an agricultural program serving smallholder farmers. Developed metrics in accordance with USAID guidelines, designed surveys and coordinated with staff to translate them into the local language. Trained and managed 8 field staff in the collection of original quantitative data from over 400 farmers, analyzed findings and created a report with recommendations for program changes.Developed marketing and outreach materials including a bi-weekly newsletter with a readership of over 15,000, as well as 25 blog posts, 10 news releases and 3 fact sheets.Mentored collegiate innovators in Human-Centered Design and Lean Startup methods as a judge for a social innovation competition.Planned and implemented a four-day Design Thinking crash course for over 500 undergraduate and graduate students.
