I have developed excellent time management, teamwork, and organizational skills through my volunteering experience, part-time jobs, and experience as a student-athlete. Volunteering at my local Optimist Club as a scorekeeper, as well as working at Chick-fil-A, has helped me to understand the importance of teamwork and communication with everyone. My time as a student-athlete, both in high school and now, as a member of the cross country and track teams for UNCW, has allowed me to work on my time management skills. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while balancing sports, as well as other hobbies. Working at Carmichael Farms doing secretary and lab work has helped me to develop organizational skills, as I need to ensure all paperwork is properly sorted and all lab equipment is clean and in the right spot.These experiences, as well as my current education at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, have prepared me to work towards earning my business degree (with an accounting concentration) and pursuing a career in that industry in the future.
