About Claire Parker

Qualified Wellbeing Life Coach validated by the AC, NCIP & CMA. Director of the OFFIE nominated production of the UK Premiere of "Apples in Winter" by Jennifer Fawcett performed at The Playground Theatre in October 2022. Author of 3 plays featuring inspiring women born in the 19th Century. The latest, The Vegan Tigress, is coming to London in 2025 in which I also perform. I currently work part-time as a well-being companion with people living with dementia having moved out of marketing and into the care sector to support during the pandemic. More than 30 years' experience in the arts as an Actor, Performer, Writer, Director, Teacher and Voice Artist. An excellent eye for design and photography and the written word.

    Most recently directed the OFFIE-nominated award finalist production of Jennifer Fawcett’s Apples in Winter (Playground Theatre, London). Began as a child performer in the West End in the musical Annie and as Liesl in The Sound of Music, then continuing to work extensively as an actress on stage & screen including a season at the National Theatre. Leading and supporting roles include; The Magistrate, A Collier’s Friday Night, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Paris Match, The Hired Man, A Slice of Saturday Night. TV: Babs in Connie, Julia in The Knights of God, Gladys Moon in Boogie Outlaws and guest appearances including Robin of Sherwood, The Refuge, Pulaski and The Bill. Moved to France, worked as a voice artist in Paris and ran a dance school, and began working with cultural organisations, publishing and writing plays. On my return to the UK, I began collaborating with LynchPin Theatre, as a performer, writer and director; my play Rotten Perfect was produced at the Watts Gallery in 2017, LynchPin toured my play, When the Cat’s Away, in the southeast of England in 2018. I directed the UK Premiere of George Purefoy Tilson's Amelia in 2019 at the Electric Theatre in Guildford.
