In collaboration with RIT, the Wehrheim Program funded my internship wherein I was tasked to research, revise and further develop the framework for the interpretation of living history in the historic village. Interpretive manuals are the guides museum Interpreters utilize to effectively execute their third-person interpretation of the 19th century; each house within the museum collection has one. With the Livingston-Backus House as a case study, my work would then be used as an outline as to how they would approach reforming all manuals within the collection to be dynamic, accessible, and amendable.
