About Claire Grady

After building a successful career as a teacher and leader in the education sector, I have decided to now follow a long-held passion for software development. I am currently finishing a Master of Computer Science, and have developed expertise in Java and Python, as well as experience with C, R, SQL and NoSQL databases, AWS and Azure, Typescript, React, HTML and CSS, amongst others. During my time as the Director of Robokids, I was responsible for designing robotics programs for primary, middle, and high school students tailored to their curriculum and coding experience. I ran successful robotics workshops for over 10,000 students across Australia, developed and facilitated innovative service-learning and maker projects, and led professional development sessions for educators. Throughout the Master of Computer Science, I have been studying a range of areas, such as algorithms and databases, computer networks and information security, user experience and interaction design, software project management, algorithms in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical learning, advanced web programming, and more. As a graduate software engineer, I am eager to continue learning and growing, and bring my skills in project management, problem-solving, and relationship building to the field of software development. I am committed to creating efficient, reliable, and scalable software and am seeking full-time graduate software engineering opportunities.
