As a Rolls-Royce executive team member, managing an agency team consisting of communication specialists, writers, designers and project managers, I defined, developed and implemented Global, Regional and local internal communication campaigns that improved productivity, safety, employee engagement, cost savings and other key company initiatives. In this role, I oversaw all Rolls-Royce operations communications in the U.S. and Canada as well as IT change management communications across the Americas, with a refreshed strategy focusing on consistency and reliability of messages to drive for improved competitiveness.Highlights:‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾➥ Led and developed content for weekly and monthly Rolls-Royce Senior Manager meetings ranging in attendance from 5 – 500, increasing leadership engagement and message consistency. ➥ Directed internal weekly, monthly and quarterly print and electronic publications from start to finish, improving visual appeal and increasing readership. ➥ Managed two key Rolls-Royce intranet sites that focused on change management and two-way dialog, receiving most visited analytics and anecdotal evidence of improved employee engagement. ➥ Implemented a communications strategy in preparation for union negotiations that ultimately drove $1.6 billion in savings, enabling manufacturing presence to remain in Indianapolis.
