Director of the artsVest program across Canada, which provides small and mid-sized arts organizations with sponsorship training and matching fund incentives, bringing them closer to their local business community and building capacity within their organization.Responsible for the development and management of the entire $3M yearly artsVest program across Canada. This includes program planning, implementation and strategy on all processes and procedures, managing a national team of five Program Managers, funding distribution, workshop instruction, delivering key performance measurements and deliverables and program data analysis. More recently, overseeing the launch of an OTF-funded mentorship program across Ontario.Since the inception of the program in 2002 to 2015, 2,334 businesses have partnered with 678 cultural organizations through artsVest. A total of $4.06 million in matching funds generating over $9.96 million in private sector sponsorship and resulted in an influx of more than $14 million to the Canadian cultural economy.

My first position in the arts sector was with Ireland's foremost contemporary music ensemble, Crash Ensemble. My first exposure to Arts Management was my 2 month internship at an Art school for adults with disabilities.It was an enjoyable and invaluable learning experience, with which I hold very high regard. It gave me the fundamental tools to carry on in the field of Arts Management.My main area of focus was Marketing, PR, Event Management, Grant Applications and Fundraising.

In my final year at Bishop's University, I assisted University directors by acting as the entrusted student voice in all marketing decisions as Recruitment Intern.Other actions included Event Management, Strategic Planning, Recruitment Program Development and the Administration of all initiatives.
