Advised on field media, social media, advocacy and communications coverage of medical activities in Northern Syria/Turkey and medical donations in Southern Syria, reconstructive surgery hospital in for war wounded patients from Syria, Iraq, Yemen and medical services to Syrian refugees in Jordan, and medical activities for Iraqi IDPs and Syrian refugees in Northern Iraq. Coordinated and supported international press coverage. Field missions and communications assessments in Turkey/Syria, Jordan and Iraq.

Developed three key documents for NRC work in, on and with the Gulf States on media and communications: (1) Analysis & Evaluation; (2) Communications Strategy; (3) Action Plan & Recommendations. A further document on coaching guidelines for activating the strategy was also included.

Operational support to 21 primary health care centres serving over one million refugees. Focused on physical, mental, and environmental health, and communications with the refugee communities. Supported negotiations with Gaza-based Ministry of Education on UNRWA human rights curriculum in government schools. Supported donor relations and management and monitoring of Summer Games for over 240,000 school children. Attended trainings in mental health & wellbeing in the field, safety & security.

Coordination of prison management programme for Centres of Reform and Rehabilitation across the West Bank. Managed key relationships with Ministry of Interior. Training coordination & supervision on human rights, training of trainers, legal standards, and rehabilitation mechanisms. Set up and ran project office in Jerusalem and recruited initial team. Attended regional HIV in prisons conference in Cairo.

Developed media and communications outreach in the MENA region with National Societies and medial outlets for the Our World, Your Move campaign, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross. Conducted communications training for the Gulf National Societies in Oman.
