Claire is a chartered scientist and chartered environmentalist with a PhD for research into air pollution. She was the Chair of the Institute of Air Quality Management from 2015-19. She is currently leading IAQM's Indoor Air Quality work. She has 40 years experience of air quality management, in the UK, Europe, Asia and North America. She was an expert witness for the family of Ella Adoo Kissi-Debrah at the ground breaking inquest into Ella' death, where the coroner concluded that air pollution contributed to her death. She also provided expert evidence in ClientEarth's successful challenges to the Government's 2015 and 2017 national air quality plans; and advised the London Borough of Hillingdon on the air quality impacts of expansion of Heathrow Airport.Specialties: Air quality, climate change, public health, sustainable development

CSL ceased to exist at the end of March 2013.
