I have been working in Education since 1988 when graduating from Cheltenham College with a B'Ed (hons). I have a wealth of experience in Primary Schools, as a teacher, leader and consultant. I am currently running my own family business, The Teach Hub, and support schools and teachers across the Midlands. Currently further developing our very own Phonics Scheme that is being successfully used in a number of schools across the UK. Our teacher training courses are always well attended due to the wealth of support and resources we provide both Nationally and Internationally. *Deputy Headteacher at Springfields First School, in Yarnfield, Staffs. Responsible for Assessment,PE, Science and Mathematics.*Primary Maths Consultant - working in Stoke-on-Trent as part of their Consultancy team supporting schools in developing Mathematics and Literacy. Supported schools as trainer and also close one to one work with teachers and improving skills with schools in Special Measures.*Primary Literacy Consultant - working in Staffordshire as part of the Primary Literacy Team. Supporting schools with developing Literacy, measuring progress, assessment, in-house training (teachers and Literacy leaders) , leading training for large groups of teachers, updates for teachers and close school support including working directly with individual teachers.*Key Stage Two Leader - Leading the Key Stage with development, assessment, planning and teaching and learning across the curriculum.*Primary School Tutor - tutoring individual pupils within the 5-14 age range, with a direct focus on dyslexia needs where necessary. Tutoring one-to-one using direct assessments on a lesson to lesson focus, linking to school support plans where necessary.
