Short term contract role for a fintech start up. The primary responsibility during this contract was to quickly bring the struggling brand launch project back on track.This included auditing current work status, improving marketing project management processes and ways of working, rebuilding agency relationships, briefing and managing work to agencies, identifying gaps in agency partner capability and rapidly appointing a new agency, and supporting the head of marketing function as required.

Boxer was an innovative online shopper protection service start-up, supporting cross-border e-commerce. The business was in the early stages of taking their product to market with a targeted segment strategy. As part of the small team there I had a broad range of responsibilities across the marketing skillset to support the Head of Marketing, Brand and CX.During this time I was able to support with strategic input, and get hands-on with targeted marketing campaign activities.- Led the implementation of Hubspot as the CRM and Marketing Automation platform, and managed direct and automated marketing activity using the tool.- Delivered targeted B2B marketing initiatives to take the product to market and acquired the first customers.- Developed an onboarding and retention comms strategic plan.- Established an online resource hub for retail partners, and developed the initial co-branded material to support partner sales.- Briefed and managed creative and content as required for the marketing activities.(Company ceased to trade due to funding withdrawal.)

TVNZ contracted me to help develop their one-to-one communications to a new and rapidly growing database of Streaming Video on Demand (SVOD) viewers, and to establish best practice processes, and benchmark metrics for the email channel.By implementing targeted and personalised communications, and implementing testing against control groups, I was able to demonstrate the benefits of personalised communications, and delivered TVNZ's most successful email campaigns to date.
