Responsible for development of content and curriculum in order to advance the Community Team’s objectives.Built partnerships between AppHarvest and community leaders in support of the company’s Benefit Corporation status. Key relationships included agricultural government agencies, the local PBS station (KET), and K-12 and college educators.Led the #growgreeneatgreen campaign, a global charity collaboration between AppHarvest and Save The Children. The program was designed to raise awareness and interest in healthy eating and farm education. Program results included 1600 students receiving plant education and DIY kits, delivering multiple social media videos and educational content for marketing team usage. Built community outreach programs to inspire students to consider future AgTech careers. Programs included hands-on leafy green cultivation practice with 5 specially designed repurposed shipping containers, and creation and leadership of the AgTech summer camp program serving students across the state.Developed the tour plan and script for the AppHarvest flagship facility, the largest hydroponic greenhouse in the world.
