My journey started with hospital & then national level work that allowed me to travel, to coach & learn from those in other countries. The leaders I worked with saw potential & supported WHO & govt funded field missions. I also immersed myself in society/charity work which provided further opportunities. My MSc in Travel Medicine fuelled further global learning & interest. Now 15 years working at global level contracted to WHO & a range of agencies on: Improvements in #healthcare through unique approaches and tool development, implementation & evaluation (including creating a globally recognised & adopted visual improvement model), influencing health policy, #patientsafety & health worker safety, #infectionprevention, #handhygiene #innovation & #campaigning, water sanitation & hygiene #WASH & #behaviourchange. A passionate connector who wants to foster capacity for the future of IPC. Essentially, a health worker turned global health strategist & policy advisor, widely published award winner and doctor. Co-established (in 2012) S3 Global (KSHealthcare Consulting Ltd), a successful boutique consultancy company.
