A collaboration of three NHS trusts delivering a nation-wide, Department of Health programmeDuring this project, I supervised and analysed time and motion studies relating to the movement of surgical instruments which resulted in significant savings on both the purchasing of new instruments and the time which instruments were out of rotation for cleaning and decontamination. The project also led to increased collaboration between three NHS trusts.
