Project Aliferous conducts drama workshops designed for primary school children aged 8-9. It focuses on imparting essential soft skills, such as confidence and communication, particularly targeting children from lower-income households. By equipping these young participants with vital skills, we aim to provide them with opportunities for personal growth. My role involves recruiting facilitators, coordinating with community partners like Keat Hong CC, and ensuring the programme’s alignment with our mission of empowerment through education.

As a participant in the Leadership and Management Programme 2024, I engaged in a six-month mentorship experience that allowed me to network with SMU alumni in my industry of interest. Through this programme, I acquired both soft and technical skills from seasoned professionals, gaining insights that are crucial for my career development. This opportunity not only expanded my professional network but also enhanced my understanding of effective leadership and management practices at workplaces.

In my role as Head of Programmes and Operations, I successfully planned and executed Bondue's flagship event - the 2024 Freshmen Orientation - which welcomed an estimated 600 freshmen. My team and I managed all logistical aspects as well, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees. Collaborating with diverse stakeholders, including the BONDUE Executive Committee, the organising committee, facilitators, and game masters, I learnt to foster effective communication and conflict management.
