J'ai effectué un cours passage au milieu d'une équipe enseignante formidable. Mon prédécesseur avait fait toute sa carrière au sein du collège. J'ai nettoyé et réorganisé la salle de TP. J'ai modifié les habitudes des élèves en utilisant plus les ordinateurs.Cela a permis au nouveau professeur de physique-chimie d'avoir de meilleurs conditions de travail à son arrivée.

Projet de Recherche Interreg IV : HYBRIPROTECH

I worked on the European project: “STONECORE”, which focuses on the development and application of nano-materials for the conservation of mortars and natural stones. My main tasks were to coordinate the laboratory tests between all the partners, and to study the consolidating effect of calcium-hydroxide nano-particles.I was also a member of the Organising Committee of the 2nd Historical Mortar Conference.

The title of my thesis is “Natural ageing in urban environment of limestones treated with water repellents: evaluation of the durability of the treatments and of their impact on stone cleaning”The aim of the project was to assess the durability of water repellents applied on limestones, exposed to outdoor environment during periods varying from 1 to 10 years.I used the following techniques: Ion chromatography, Colour measurements, Image analysis, Petrophysical measurements

As an Intern in the Building Materials Section with Dr. Simon, I worked on two projects: “Retreatability Project - The Bologna Cocktail” which evaluate the efficiency of a stone treatment, and “Si-Consolidants”, which was a systematic analysis of marketed products combined with a bibliographic study of improvements in Si-chemistry.I used the following techniques: Petrophysical measurements (porosity, water absorption capillarity, water permeability, Hg porosity), TGA, Elemental analysis (CHNS), FTIR.
