I researched and drafted a comment opposing Wisconsin's Section 1115 Medicaid Waiver application, which sought to impose drug testing and work requirements on some Medicaid beneficiaries and would have been detrimental to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. I also wrote memoranda on the likely effects of changes in federal and state health care laws on populations with addictive histories and substance use disorders and attended coalition meetings and press conferences on the effects of the proposed American Health Care Act.
