Worked with the Military and Main Contractors in a very difficult environment, gaining all approvals to successfully deliver works on time and to the desired cost and quality. • Regular reporting in the form of the Programme, Project Execution Plan, Risk Registers and Technical Reports.• Controlling project documentation.• Monthly Power Point presentations to up to 100 military personnel.• Chaired regular meetings with the Main Contractors.• Construction works carried out amongst military training sometimes involving thousands of soldiers and live fire. Tanks and military vehicles roam freely on this training area.• Sole responsibility for issuing site instructions. • Responsible for control of Requests for Information (RFI’s)• Monitored and reported progress and initiated payment for work done. • Gained Planning Approvals, having successfully countered Planning objections. • Complex environment, 140 sq. miles in area, Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) with fairy shrimps reptiles, badgers are a big challenge and grass protected under European law.• Worked closely with the Defence Estates Environmental Team, archaeological watching briefs were required.• Minuted monthly Project Coordination Meetings with many stakeholders.• Military training requirements change, the client, and stakeholders changed with great regularity.
