YOU X ME X MARYAM - Pop-up event serving traditional Afghan cuisine Maryam left Afghanistan & came to Germany with her family to seek asylum years ago, she was very well known for her cooking amongst her community. She wanted to give guests the opportunity to taste her traditional cooking and foster dialogue during the intimate dinner event YOU X ME X MARYAM.The aim was to support Maryam and her husband's ambitions in open a restaurant by providing them with experience in a commercial kitchen and serving up to 30 guest in one evening. All proceeds from ticket sales went to Maryam and her family.
