- Fully managed turn-key production of surgical simulator (Promis3) with contract manufacturers. I administered concept design sketches, 3D modelling, prototyping, testing, engineering, validating and through to manufacture for market. The new product design and sourcing of new suppliers resulted in a 40% reduction in overall manufacturing and assembly costs which lead to a 15% increase in profits.- Created a new product using different materials sourced from new suppliers and vendors with theaim to reduce manufacturing and assembly costs and in-turn increase profits.- Successfully created a partnership with IT Carlow. This mutually benefited Haptica, the college and the students. A product design brief was given to the students (1st Year & 4th Year) to develop new products. This partnership helped Haptica with regards reducing resources and costs and gave invaluable experience for the students dealing with a real company and having the opportunity to present for a potential product to market.- Supported the sales team with visuals and presentations on numerous occasions which resulted in winning tenders in the USA.- Product research conducted in the USA and Europesimulator ensuring we were meeting market requirements and keeping on par with competitors.- Conducted end user testing before new software releases for customers. All bugs would have been logged and communicated back to the development department.
