Additionally, I manage consulting engagements that science gateways teams can request, such as short-term usability engagements or technical advice. The Science Gateways Community Institute (SGCI) is a team of experts that supports projects as a partnered collaborator. Science gateways can collaborate with SGCI to embed expert developers into projects, pay for a customized sustainability training for their community, and incorporate sustainability consultants to help a team plan a sustainable future. In this position, I worked with the Science Gateways Community Insitute (SGCI) as a coordinator and instructor for the Science Gateways Bootcamp, a week-long workshop to develop and scale gateway-building work from start to finish. On a daily basis, I worked with clients and consultants to scope out the request, build a workplan and provide marketing support. I managed the HUBzero Platform's communication and outreach paths for HUBzero.
