I deal solely with clinical negligence clinical negligence claims. I have many years' experience of pursuing claims on behalf of claimants. I have a particular interest in birth injury cases leading either to cerebral palsy, stillbirth or neonatal death. I have supported bereaved parents for over 15 years, having commenced my career representing families at the Bristol Royal Infirmary Inquiry into paediatric cardiac surgery. I understand the importance of providing emotional support as well as addressing the legal aspects of these highly sensitive claims.I have been a campaigner for and member of the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (Sands) since 2003. I am the author of "Common Trends in Stillbirth Cases: Study and Report November 2008" and edited the legal aspects of "Pregnancy Loss and the Death of a Baby: Guidelines for Professionals", Third & Fourth Edition. I passionately believe that litigation can be an aid to change and assist in improving NHS practices in the future. Initially worked in Multi Party Action team in Bristol office dealing with the Nationwide Organ Retention Litigation and individual clinical negligence claims. Transferred to Taunton office to the clinical negligence team to concentrate solely on clinical negligence work.

I completed my training contract at this firm in Barnstaple, Devon. On qualification, I specialised in clinical negligence and represented families at the Bristol Royal Infirmary Public Inquiry into Paediatric Cardiac surgery as well as dealing with their individual claims.
