A specialist in audience development, strategic communications and stakeholder engagement, Claire has worked at the highest level with public figures across policy, the arts and heritage sectors. She is currently leading the communications and public affairs strategy for Towards a National Collection, a major five-year £18.9 million investment in the UK’s world-renowned museums, archives, libraries and galleries. Claire has developed this brand and advocacy strategy in partnership with 23 participating universities, 22 IROs and 66 GLAM sector organisations. She has held senior advisory role for leaders across the heritage and culture sector, providing strategic support for spokespeople and organisations, from government agencies and public institutions, to corporate developers and major arts initiatives. She has worked closely with the directors and trustees of national organisations such as The Design Museum, British Museum and Turner Contemporary, cultural philanthropy leaders at the Clore Duffield Foundation, Rothschild Foundation, Swarovski, Rolex and Deutsche Bank, and driven advocacy campaigns for urban districts such as Greenwich Peninsula and the South Bank. As well as delivering high level strategic oversight, she regularly supplies speeches and briefings for international launches, press conferences, and UK parliamentary events. An accomplished writer, she has published editorial on behalf of her clients across mainstream international news media, including The Times, The Guardian and the FT, and industry titles such as The Art Newspaper. She has co-authored a book, Culture and Placemaking, about creative partnerships in the built environment. Claire holds an MA Hons from the University of Oxford in English Language and Literature, and was nominated a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
