I'm Claire. I'm a senior leader in People and Culture and transformation. Which is a fancy way of saying I work with leaders to help them inspire and organise their people to enable our business to grow.I believe that good HR is about sharing wisdom, and seeing things from a different angle, that help leaders grow. About 80% of the world lives in Asia, Africa and South America combined, up to 50% of the world’s population will suffer from cancer in their lifetime (or more if we add on other illness), and a similar number are likely to suffer mental health issues. If you are a senior leader in a global company that doesn’t have representation from all these perspectives, and so many more, how can you understand your customer? How can you outshine your competitors if you don’t draw on diverse thinking? Good HR is about bringing DE&I to life, in a way that resonates, and becomes part of your culture and values.
