I am an experienced Programme Coordinator across public, private, and voluntary sectors. For the last 12 years these roles have been within the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) supporting clinical research. The NIHR is a large, national, federated and multi-facet organisation that is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care to "improve the health and wealth of the nation through research".Currently, I am PMO Coordinator for the NIHR Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Transformation Programme. The programme is of enterprise significance, with a multi-million pound annual budget that delivers results at pace. I am involved in shaping the strategic direction for DDaT in the NIHR.I am a highly motivated and versatile individual, capable of establishing myself in new teams and fields of expertise with ease, demonstrating adaptability, flexibility and the ability to quickly learn and implement new skills. I am always customer focused. I apply my outstanding communication skills across organisational boundaries, at all levels, to support the wider NIHR and our partners.I am highly skilled in prioritising competing workloads from multiple sources in pressured and challenging environments. I have an enquiring mind and I love to learn and develop myself, especially in areas of management and leadership, science and technology, and history.In other professional lives, I have been a Cordon Bleu Chef, worked in the wine trade, and run my own business.I like to give back to my community and others.
