Laboratory of Dr. Roger Davis• Characterized multiple phenotypes in mice lacking members of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways. Findings were published in multiple leading peer-reviewed journals.• Independently established a histology facility (formalin-fixed paraffin embedded (FFPE) and frozen tissue) to support small animal phenotyping studies and disease models; purchased equipment, hired and trained research associates, and supervised research on a daily basis. • Designed and executed a wide variety of cell culture-based assays using primary cells and established cell lines.• Wrote scientific manuscripts, review articles, scientific posters, grant proposals, IACUC protocols and standard operating procedures.
